Singer, Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as KCee, has urged the public to cultivate the habit of celebrating individuals while they are still alive, rather than only showering them with tributes upon their death. KCee made this appeal following the death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, who passed away on May 11, 2026, after a battle with advanced metastatic kidney cancer. KCee expressed regret over the tendency to eulogize people only after they have passed, emphasizing the need for appreciation in the present.
