Real Madrid young star, Endrick, has revealed his future is in the hands of ‘what God tells his wife’ after the he scored again for his loan club Lyon. The Brazilian forward, 19, scored the clinching goal in Lyon’s 4-2 win over Rennes on Sunday to move the club into the Champions League places in Ligue 1. It was his eighth goal since joining the French giants on loan in January, and he has seven assists to his name. ‘It’s like I always say. If I’m meant to stay here, if I’m meant to return to Real Madrid, if I’m meant to go somewhere else, I’ll do what God tells me. What God tells my wife,’ Endrick said, as per Globo. ‘I thank God for bringing me here, I’m very Excited to be here. ‘But that’s it, I’ll do what God tells me to do, what God puts in my wife’s head to do. ‘Coming to Lyon was one of my best choices, I thank God very much for that because I came to a team that welcomed me. ‘I’m very Excited and clearly, God willing, if I go to the World Cup, it will be thanks to the whole of Lyon.’ Last month, Endrick and Miranda announced they are expecting their first child. The couple have been married since September 2024, with their marriage coming less than a year after they met.
