A confrontation involving a female student, a hostel staff member and a Rev. Sister at Coal City University has sparked reactions online after videos from the incident surfaced on social media. According to reports, the incident began after the student was questioned by an Associate Dean over her alleged absence from classes before the situation reportedly escalated into a physical altercation involving the student, a hostel sister and security personnel. Witnesses claimed the student was assaulted by the Associate Dean, a hostel sister and female security officers. However, the student was also accused of slapping the hostel sister and a cleaner during the clash. Reports further alleged that school authorities searched the students room for hard drugs but found none. The student also reportedly requested privacy to change clothes before accompanying officials, a request that was allegedly denied. The incident has generated reactions online, with many questioning why a student would allegedly be physically handled by school officials. One user asked, Why would anyone lay hands on that girl? while another said those responsible should be sent to Kirikiri prison if the allegations are confirmed. An X user who claimed to have graduated from the institution also alleged that the sisters in the school are often harsh and show little motherly care toward students.
