A man identified as Yokonta Friday has confessed to stealing from a hotel and illegally selling hotel rooms for the past five years. In a video making the rounds online, Friday admitted that he was responsible for collecting money from guests, transferring the funds into his personal account and sharing the proceeds with others allegedly involved in the scheme. According to him, he and two other individuals identified as Mr. Wale and Mr. Seyi usually took the largest share of the money before distributing the rest to other participants. He further claimed that everyone in the housekeeping department was aware of the arrangement. When asked if he had built a house from the proceeds of the alleged theft, Friday answered in the affirmative. He also disclosed that between May of last year and June this year, a total of N17.8 million passed through his personal account. During the questioning, he admitted to being responsible for the theft and acknowledged that his actions were criminal. Watch video below     View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post Hotel staff admits to stealing millions from hotel over five years, says proceeds were shared among workers appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
