At least 10 residents have been reported k!lled following a late-night attack on Ankpali community in Apa Local Government Area of Benue State. The attack occurred on Sunday night, April 12, 2026. Some residents are still unaccounted for as local search efforts continue. Residents said the assailants, described as armed Fulani militia, stormed the area under the cover of darkness and opened fire on villagers, causing panic and forcing many families to flee their homes for safety.
